Stability of High Entropy Alloys to Spinodal Decomposition

چکیده

When a high entropy alloy (HEA) system contains single binary miscibility gap, the gap spreads across entire composition space of system. Beneath is spinodal hypersurface above which HEAs are stable to continuous change phase via decomposition. there additional gaps, stability limits appear separately at temperature but combine on cooling form surface that may contain cone point, an important feature for design age hardening alloys. In this work, understanding how surfaces form, combine, and develop critical features obtained by investigating several ternary systems each with three gaps. Because their topology same, bisection isopleths isothermal sections diagrams given in work will help interpret calculated isotherms 5- 6-dimensional HEA diagrams.
